The owner had contacted other providers first without getting anywhere. Dacor itself said it did not have parts for a range of that age. UniFix located the part, determined the problem, gave a firm price and completed the repair.
What this job shows
Older professional-style ranges are often worth keeping: they fit the kitchen and are built to be repaired. When the manufacturer no longer stocks a part, it is worth checking other sources before anyone declares the range unrepairable. More on Dacor repair and oven and range repair.

“What a Treat. A company that responds quickly, shows up on time, determines the problem, provides a firm price and gets the job done.(I did reach out to other providers, and went down rabbit holes.) I needed repairs on a 25 year old Dacor range, which even Dacor said they don't have parts for. UniFix had no trouble locating the part. If you call, ask for Nicolai. I won't say how much the repair cost, since each situation is different. Was it "reasonable"? That is like beauty. In the eye of the beholder or customer. I found it extremely fair.”
